Maggie James is a British author who lives in Bristol and writes psychological suspense novels.

Before turning her hand to writing, Maggie worked mainly as an accountant, with a diversion into practising as a nutritional therapist.

She's best known for her thrillers, but also writes about non-fiction topics, in particular nutrition, but she has also written a book about writing, called Write Your Novel! From Getting Started to First Draft.

Recently she accepted a publishing deal with Amazon's Lake Union imprint, which will involve the republication of her first novel, His Kidnapper's Shoes.

In addition, Lake Union will publish Maggie's sixth fiction title, Burning Obsession, which is currently undergoing editing and revision.
